Paros – Antiparos
Paros for many is their most beloved destination in Cyclades. An island that sooths your soul with harmony.
Paros is unique in every aspect. With scenic natural landscapes, picturesque villages, narrow alleys, imposing mansions, traditional white houses, colourful fishing boats, historical and religious monuments and of course beautiful beaches.
Place’s worth visiting are the Venetian castle located on a hill, the church of Panagia Ekatontapyliani, named after the 99 open doors plus 1 hidden that also functions as a monastery. Also, the house of Mantos Mavrogenous, a woman fighter of the Greek Revolution of 1821, the cape of Agios Fokas with the incredible view of the Sea and the surrounding islands, the Archaeological Museum and the the Windmills.
Paros is also known for the beautiful beaches with turquoise crystal clear waters. They are ideal for sailing, diving, swimming and water sports.
Then there’s Antiparos. Despite its smaller size, Antiparos is in position to offer great moments and priceless memories. You can walk around in beautiful narrow cobbled alleys, you will admire the Cycladic architecture with the traditional whitewashed small houses with blue doors and windows wrapped in beautiful flowers, you will swim in magnificent caves, and of course you are in for a treat…..the local cuisine!
